Adams Coronavirus (COVID-19) Safety Procedures

The health of our customers and our Adams team members always has been and continues to be our #1 priority.

The recent news about Coronavirus – “COVID-19” – has put all of us on high alert.

In spite of this, our team has been recognized as an essential service by the Governor of Wisconsin and our dedicated technicians standby ready to serve your electric, generator, heating and cooling, and low voltage needs, while exercising precautionary measures to help ensure your health and safety along with that of our team members.

When you call for an appointment, our Customer Service team will ask you if you have recently traveled to a location where the virus has been prevalent, or if you have been in contact with anyone who may have been infected.  If either of those have occurred, we may delay service until you’ve been cleared by your doctor as symptom-free.

To help ensure your health and that of our team members we have supplied our team with protective masks, gloves, footwear coverings, disinfectant wipes and sprays.  Every team member will be taking precautionary steps when they visit your home or business and you can find our comprehensive daily checklist here.

Please note that while onsite our Team members will not shake your hand.  They will try to maintain a distance of at least six feet between themselves and you, per the CDC recommendations.  They will put on clean shoe covers and gloves for each home they visit and throw away all used items after each job.  They will wear protective masks.  They will not hand out business cards.  They will wipe their tablet surface or other tools with disinfectant wipes before bringing them into your home.

This situation is changing daily and our team is monitoring it by the hour.  We will continue to make any necessary adjustments to continuing ensuring your safety and the safety of our team members.

All that said, we also want to acknowledge and sincerely thank you for your ongoing support of our team and their families during this difficult time.  We’re all in this together and look forward to a brighter future together when we get on the other side of this.

Keep Calm and Power On.

Sincerely,

Jesse Adams
